Why Choose Vietnam
Abundant IT Talent and Adaptability to Latest Technologies
Vietnam produces over 400,000 STEM graduates annually, with engineers proficient in the latest technology stacks. From frontend development using React, Vue.js, and Angular to backend development with Python and Node.js, they cover a wide range of expertise. They have proven track records in cutting-edge projects including ML/AI-powered image recognition systems, blockchain-based DApps development, and metaverse-related VR/AR development. They also demonstrate strong capabilities in cloud development with AWS and Azure, and mobile app development using Flutter/React Native.
Outstanding Cost Performance
While mid-level engineers with 3+ years of experience command monthly salaries of 450,000-600,000 yen in Japan, in Vietnam they can be hired for 150,000-250,000 yen. Even senior engineers typically cost 250,000-350,000 yen monthly, achieving 50-60% cost reduction compared to Japan. The young workforce with an average age of 30.5 years and stable economic foundation with 6-7% annual GDP growth provide advantages for long-term business development.
High Compatibility with Japan
The mere 2-hour time difference with Japan enables smooth communication. There is an abundance of IT professionals with JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) N1 and N2 levels, with numbers increasing yearly. With diplomatic relations since 1973 and similar cultural values, Vietnamese people demonstrate diligence and strong teamwork. Over 2,000 Japanese companies have already established presence, making Vietnam an ideal offshore development hub combining technical and language capabilities.

About Vietnam
About Vietnam
Vietnam is quite a popular country as a tourist destination, but what is it really like? I will share with you the current situation in Vietnam, including its politics, daily life, and more.
AFFAIRS
Current Situation in Vietnam
Vietnam operates under a one-party system governed by the Communist Party of Vietnam, with political stability as its strength. The government prioritizes economic growth and social stability, while also advancing anti-corruption measures and administrative reforms. In recent years, relations with the United States have strengthened significantly. In September 2023, President Biden visited Vietnam, and both countries agreed to elevate their relationship to a 'Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.' This signifies a deepening of cooperation in economic and security areas, contributing to Vietnam's enhanced international standing. Vietnam is also known as a tourism powerhouse with rich natural landscapes and historical cultural heritage. It offers diverse attractions including World Heritage sites like Ha Long Bay, the ancient town of Hoi An, and the developing beach resort city of Da Nang. The cost of living is generally inexpensive compared to Japan. Food and transportation costs in particular are very reasonable, making long-term stays and travel quite affordable. While prices have been rising in urban areas due to economic growth, they remain competitive compared to neighboring countries. Not only are tourist facilities well-developed, but essential infrastructure for daily living is also well-established, creating a relatively comfortable environment for foreigners. English is widely understood in urban areas, and Japanese restaurants and supermarkets are readily available.
